Product Manager - AI

À distance
S

ABOUT THE ROLE: Supabase is the backend more than 7 million registered developers reach for when they want to ship fast: database, auth, storage, and APIs in one platform. AI coding assistants now account for a meaningful share of the development happening on Supabase: agents writing migrations, provisioning infrastructure, and querying databases through the MCP server https://supabase.com/docs/guides/ai-tools/mcp and agent skills https://supabase.com/docs/guides/ai-tools/ai-skills. When agents have the wrong context or defaults, the result is a broken schema or a misconfigured policy. Getting the abstractions right is the whole job. You own the MCP server, agent skills, and the evals that tell you whether any of it is working. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: - Rethink the PM job when most users are agents. Defaults, error messages, breaking changes, naming, deprecations, docs: every product decision behaves differently when an AI coding tool sees it before a human does. Apply that lens to your own roadmap and to product decisions across Supabase. - Talk to customers across the full spectrum. Indie developers shipping side projects, startups choosing an AI stack, enterprise teams running agents in production. Find the blockers and bring them back to the roadmap. - Own the problem statement and requirements behind every agent tooling bet. Define what we're building and why before engineering picks up a spec. Capture the evidence behind each decision, name the constraints, and give the team a target it can hit. - Decide what gets built, what gets deferred, and what gets cut. Every quarter you're choosing between agent plugin requests, MCP improvements, discoverability work, and reliability — and defending those calls when stakeholders push back. - Define how each launch is measured before it ships. Set the metric before engineering starts: developer activation, task completion, and AI eval scores. Track whether it moved after launch and use that to sharpen the next call. - Keep engineering, design, and leadership aligned. Agent tooling spans the MCP server, CLI, SDK, and dashboard. Communicate the roadmap, surface dependencies early, and keep stakeholders pointed in the same direction. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU: - Have 7+ years of product management experience on developer tools, or an ex-founder with strong product instincts. You're technical enough to dive in: read an architecture doc, follow a design discussion, ask the right questions. - Have a clear point of view on what makes infrastructure agent-friendly. You use AI coding tools and agent harnesses daily, track what Anthropic, OpenAI, and the AI community ship week to week, and have opinions about the primitives developers need to build agent-native products. You've shipped something that put those opinions to the test. - Are biased toward speed. You'd rather ship something imperfect and learn than spend another sprint refining a spec. You know when to stop planning and start building. - Build with what you own. You use the products on your roadmap: connecting to Supabase through the MCP server, building with the CLI, testing how agents respond to different tool configurations. You develop opinions through first-hand use. - Use AI to move faster. You use AI tools for research, drafting, and synthesising feedback. More time goes to judgment calls. - Work async by default. Supabase is fully remote. You make decisions in writing and move threads forward without meetings. WHAT WE OFFER - Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world. - ESOP Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together. - Tech Allowance Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work. - Health Benefits Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us. - Annual Off-Sites Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year. - Flexible Work We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when. - Professional Development Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth. Staff Data Analyst, GTM

À distance

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Staff Data Analyst, GTM to join our Data Intelligence team and help build the analytical foundation that powers Supabase's growing sales org. You'll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Ops, helping us connect the dots between systems, data, and strategy -- turning raw signals into trusted data products and actionable insight for GTM leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments, is AI-forward in how they work, and is excited about building something from the ground up alongside a scaling sales team. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GTM Data Products - Build and own the canonical data products that Sales, CS, and GTM Ops rely on -- ARR, pipeline, account health, expansion signals, and renewal tracking - Define and document GTM metric standards so the whole org is working from consistent definitions - Build and maintain the underlying data models that power GTM reporting and analysis Stakeholder Partnership - Serve as the dedicated analytical resource for Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Ops leadership - Translate business questions into clean analytical specs and deliver decision-ready findings - Build self-service tools and context layers that enable GTM teams to answer their own questions -- the goal is scale, not dependency - Own the GTM analytics function end-to-end, from data model to business strategy Systems and Data Connectivity - Connect the dots between CRM, product usage, and billing data to give GTM teams a complete picture of the customer - Identify gaps and inconsistencies across systems and work cross-functionally to resolve them AI-Powered Analysis - Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, increase output, and go deeper than a traditional analyst workflow allows - Help establish AI-forward ways of working within the Data Intelligence team and model that approach for the broader GTM org YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU - Have 6+ years in analytics with meaningful time directly supporting Sales, Customer Success, or GTM Ops - Have built data models and BI layers from scratch, not just consumed them -- you understand the full stack from raw source data to business-facing output - Are comfortable working with CRM, product usage, and billing data and know how to connect them into a coherent picture of the customer - Have experience in a PLG or usage-based business and understand how self-serve signals translate into sales motion - Think in terms of self-service and scale -- your instinct is to build tools that make GTM teams independently capable, not to become a bottleneck - Can hold both the technical and strategic context at once -- you're as comfortable in a data model as you are in a conversation about territory design or expansion strategy - Are AI-forward in how you work -- you use LLMs and AI tooling habitually and have a clear point of view on how it changes what an analyst can do - Communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and know how to make data land in a business conversation - Thrive in async, autonomous environments and are energized by building something from the ground up WHAT WE OFFER - Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world. - ESOP Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. Core Product Lead

À distance
S

Postgres has become the default data layer for AI-native applications, and Supabase is where most of those applications get built. The Core division owns the surfaces that make that possible: Postgres https://supabase.com/docs/guides/database/overview, Auth https://supabase.com/docs/guides/auth, Storage https://supabase.com/docs/guides/storage, Edge Functions https://supabase.com/docs/guides/functions, Realtime https://supabase.com/docs/guides/realtime, and the platform substrate they all run on. 7,000,000+ developers build on these products, from indie hackers shipping side projects to enterprises in regulated industries running production workloads. Every line a customer writes against Supabase lands on one of them. We're hiring a Core Product Lead to own the product strategy across Core. You'll manage the PMs who run each product, set the bets that decide what Core becomes over the next 12–18 months, and make the cross-product calls no individual PM can. The role reports to the Head of Product. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: - Build and develop the Core PM team. You'll manage the PMs across Platform, Databases, Auth, Storage, Functions, and Realtime. Hire into open seats, coach the PMs already on the team, run performance cycles, and make sure every product surface has an owner who can carry it. - Set the product strategy across Core. Decide where the bets are and how the products reinforce each other. Defend that agenda with the founders and the engineering leads who run each team. - Make the cross-product calls. The hardest prioritisation in Core sits between products. What Auth ships affects Databases. What Realtime needs from Postgres shapes the database roadmap. Own those calls. - Coach PMs on the craft. Customer evidence, problem definition, prioritisation, success metrics, written communication. Sit in on customer calls and roadmap reviews, read the docs and PRDs your PMs write, and tell them what's working and what isn't. - Represent Core in leadership. Be the person who can speak to the state of every Core product in a board meeting, customer escalation, or strategy review without pulling in the individual PM every time. Translate engineering reality into a story the rest of the company can act on. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU: - Have managed product managers before, ideally at the Director level or equivalent. You've hired PMs, fired PMs, run performance cycles, coached people through promotions, and held a team together through a hard quarter. You can name the PMs you've developed and what they went on to do. - Have 8+ years of product management experience on developer tools or infrastructure, or an ex-founder background with the same depth. You're technical enough to read an architecture doc, follow a design discussion, and ask the right questions of engineers building distributed systems, databases, or cloud platforms. - Have shipped in the Postgres, database, or developer-infrastructure space. You've owned products in this category, not just worked next to them. You understand how developers evaluate them, what makes them stick, and where they fail under load. Familiarity with open-source go-to-market (where the product, community, and commercial offering reinforce each other) is a bonus. - Are biased toward speed. You'd rather have your team ship something imperfect and learn than spend another sprint refining a spec. You know when to stop planning and when to push your PMs to move. - Use AI to move faster. You use AI tools to compress the slow parts of the job (research, drafting, synthesising customer feedback, reviewing PRDs) so more of your time goes to judgment calls and to the people you manage. - Work async by default. Supabase is fully remote. You make decisions in writing, run your team through written artifacts, and move things forward without filling the calendar with meetings. Product Manager - Infrastructure

Supabase is the open-source Postgres development platform that 7M+ developers and thousands of enterprises depend on every day. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re hiring a Product Manager to own the platform primitives every Supabase product runs on, including internal features like compute https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/compute-add-ons, disks https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/database-size, networking, and the API gateway, and external features like read replicas https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/read-replicas, custom domains https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/custom-domains, PrivateLink https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/privatelink, and Bring Your Own Cloud. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: - Talk to customers across the full spectrum. Indie developers running a single nano project, fast-growing startups whose costs are dominated by compute and disk, enterprises walking through a network-architecture review, and partners building on top of Supabase. Find the real blockers and bring them back to the roadmap. - Own the problem statement and requirements behind every platform bet. Capture the customer evidence behind each decision, name the cost, capacity, and reliability constraints, and give the team a target it can hit. - Decide what gets built, what gets deferred, and what gets cut. Every quarter you're choosing between enterprise unlocks blocking deals, reliability and cost wins for the long tail of projects, and net-new capabilities that change what Supabase can run. Set the priorities and defend them. - Define how each launch is measured before it ships. Set the metric, agree on the threshold, and track it after launch. Know whether a feature moved enterprise deal velocity, project economics, or platform reliability. Use that to sharpen the next call. - Keep engineering, design, and leadership aligned. The platform touches every other Supabase product, every region, and every customer tier. Write the roadmap, surface dependencies before they become blockers, and keep decisions moving. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU: - Have 7+ years of product management experience on developer tools, or an ex-founder with strong product instincts. You're technical enough to dive in: read an architecture doc, follow a design discussion, ask the right questions. - Have shipped cloud infrastructure as a product. You've owned at least one of compute, networking, storage, or multi-region/multi-tenant systems at a cloud, infra, or PaaS company. You understand the tradeoffs well enough to judge them: instance sizing and capacity, disk and storage economics, scale-to-zero vs. always-on, single-tenant vs. shared, the gap between "works in one region" and "works in twenty." Familiarity with how enterprises buy infrastructure (PrivateLink, BYOC, procurement) is a bonus. - Are biased toward speed. You'd rather ship something imperfect and learn than spend another sprint refining a spec. - Build with what you own. You run real workloads on the products you own: standing up a read replica, putting a custom domain in front of a project, terminating traffic through PrivateLink, deploying onto BYOC. - Use AI to move faster. You use AI tools to cut the slow parts so more time goes to judgment calls. - Work async by default. You know what needs to be done and when. - Professional Development Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth. ABOUT THE TEAM Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. Senior Manager - Technical Program Management

À distance
S

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Program Management to join our R&D Organization and stand up the Technical Program Management function at Supabase. You'll report to the Head of Product, Engineering, and Design and partner directly with the heads of Customer Success, Support, GTM, and PMM. You'll manage a small team of senior IC TPMs (starting with one), and you'll personally own the cross-functional interface fabric between Engineering, Product, Design, and the rest of the value delivery chain. This is a founding role for the function. The shape, standards, and operating model are yours to define, against a clear position: TPM is not PMO. Engineering Managers are accountable for delivery on their teams. TPMs own the connective tissue between teams and between functions, the dependency graph of our largest programs, and the company standard for how we run projects in Linear. This role is ideal for an experienced operator who has built TPM functions before, has strong technical fluency, and wants to define the operating fabric of a fast-moving, distributed software company without falling into the failure modes of centralized status-collection. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR - Stand up the TPM function at Supabase. Define the operating model, the engagement model within product, eng and design, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the bar for the role. Hire and grow the team over time. - Manage the senior IC TPM and grow the team as the function proves out. Coach, set direction, hold the standard, and protect the team from drift into status-collection or hygiene-on-behalf-of-teams. - Own the cross-functional interface fabric between EPD and the rest of the company — named seams between Engineering and Customer Success, Support, GTM, PMM, with DRIs on each side, hand-off contracts, SLAs, and escalation paths. This is the unowned gap in the company today and your highest-leverage area in the first year. - Author the company standard for project management in Linear, and pair synchronously with EMs and program leads on key cross-functional projects to make sure they get broken down against the standard. The standard covers project structure, tagging and labeling, milestone conventions, issue breakdown patterns, and the leadership views we use to read program state. You are accountable for the outcome of that standard in Linear at the company level. - Hold the line on accountability. EMs are accountable for delivery and for the project management discipline on their teams. Your team authors the standard and supports synchronously. You do not let the TPM function drift into doing hygiene work on behalf of teams; that failure mode is the explicit antipattern we're hiring against. - Own the dependency graph and launch readiness for our largest cross-functional programs — multi-team launches, major customer migrations, and platform initiatives that span 3+ engineering teams and downstream functions. - Operate the program-level rollup infrastructure that makes program state legible to leadership without adding load on teams. Status is written by EMs. Your function builds the connective infrastructure. - Partner across EPD with the heads of Engineering, Product, and Design on a single shared system for how we run work end-to-end, and reinforce the artifact discipline of our delivery operating model. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU - Have 10+ years of experience in technical program management, including experience standing up or scaling a TPM function in a high-growth software company - Have managed a team of senior IC TPMs and held the bar for the function - Have strong technical fluency: you read code well enough to find the real risk in a plan, and you hold your own with senior engineers on architecture and dependencies - Have built cross-functional interfaces between engineering and the field (Customer Success, Support, GTM, PMM) that held under launch pressure - Have operated Linear, Jira, or equivalent at scale, including defining the standard that many teams run on - Have a clear point of view on the difference between TPM and PMO, and on why hygiene-on-behalf-of-teams is a failure mode - Are comfortable working with Engineering Managers as the accountable owners on each team - Communicate with precision in writing and async, in a globally distributed team - Have high judgment and can hold a position without positional authority WHAT WE OFFER - Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the wo
