We are considering candidates in Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Spain and the UK only. The Opportunity: Application Core Services (AppCore) partners closely with our Cloud, Enterprise, and Grafana teams to deliver reliable internal and customer-facing systems that power critical parts of the Grafana business. We build on the grafana.com platform to create custom solutions and integrations across the many systems that support a modern software company. The team owns important domain areas that help keep both our customer workflows and internal business processes running smoothly. AppCore is made up of multiple squads, each focused on one or more of these domains. Our work includes maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculation, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the user portal our customers rely on to manage their accounts. This is a team working at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. The systems we build are critical to how Grafana scales. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex workflow and systems problems, improving reliability and developer experience, and building software that directly supports both customers and internal stakeholders. As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a unique perspective to the software. Engineers at Grafana also have the opportunity to contribute to Open Source communities and collaborate across teams beyond their immediate scope. What You’ll Be Doing: In this role, you will help design, build, operate, and evolve the critical services that support customer lifecycle workflows and internal business operations across Grafana. • Take an active role in influencing the team roadmap and your own career development • Drive projects from initial ideation through implementation and into production operations • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and availability • Build and maintain production backend services and APIs that support core customer and business workflows • Contribute to customer-facing and internal web applications, including our account and management portal • Design, build, and maintain integrations between Grafana systems and external business platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and other third-party services • Work across internal services, APIs, and external systems to build reliable data flows and business-critical automations • Continuously improve the existing codebase by addressing technical debt, strengthening CI/CD pipelines, and increasing test coverage • Take ownership of the services your team runs, including participating in on-call rotations • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across the company using async communication and regular video meetings • Work across one or more important AppCore domains, such as billing, provisioning, cloud marketplace integrations, account management workflows, and business systems integrations • Contribute to technical design discussions and help shape pragmatic solutions to business-critical problems • Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to projects that may not fall directly within your team’s immediate scope As we are remote-first an

ABOUT SUPABASE Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Design Engineer to join our Design Team and take full ownership of the look, feel, and experience of our marketing and documentation sites. In this role, design and code are fully intertwined — you won't be handing off to engineers, you'll be shipping it yourself. You'll move from identifying what needs improving to building and deploying it, with minimal direction and maximum ownership. This role is ideal for someone who builds at work and in your personal time, is deeply curious about developer tools, and thrives in async environments where you're trusted to run with a problem and figure out the best solution. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR - Own the end-to-end design and experience of supabase.com http://supabase.com sites, like our marketing website, documentation site, and mini sites like Select conf, Launch Week — you will also be identifying problems with these sites, shipping fixes and continually improving them. - Collaborate with Product Marketing, Engineering, Product and the Docs team to ensure every page is clear and useful. - Make sure our sites have beautiful typography, layout, diagrams, code blocks etc. - Develop and ship live pages using modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Vite). You’ll have an active voice in choosing libraries and frameworks. - Evolve our design system and reusable components to keep sites consistent and scalable. - Refine illustrations, diagrams, and messaging to improve technical clarity. - Proactively identify areas of the site that need improvement and drive them forward without waiting to be asked. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU - Are genuinely both a designer and a front-end developer — you're as comfortable in code as you are in Figma, and you don't think of them as separate activities - Actively use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex etc) to experiment, prototype or ship websites/apps/features/products. - Have designed and built for developers or technical audiences — dev tools, crypto, tech startups, AI or similar; you understand who we're talking to - Are actively building things outside of work — side projects, personal experiments; you're curious and you ship. - Write production-quality front-end code using React, Next.js, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and component libraries like shadcn/Radix/Base UI - Take a broad brief and run with it — you identify what's worth working on, communicate your thinking, and get it done - Are comfortable working async and independently in a globally distributed team - Move fast without sacrificing craft — you balance quality with speed and know when good enough is good enough WHAT WE OFFER - Fully Remote We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world. - ESOP Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together. - Tech Allowance Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work. - Health Benefits Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us. - Annual Off-Sites Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year. - Flexible Work We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when. - Professional Development Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth. ABOUT THE TEAM Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love. - 280+ team members - 55+ countries - 20+ languages spoken - $500M raised - 500,000+ community members We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities. HIRING PROCESS We keep things simple, async-friendly, and respectful of your time: 1. Apply – Our team will review your application. 2. Intro Call – A short video chat to get to know each other. 3. Interviews – Up to four calls with: - Team Leads - Future teammates - Someone cross-functional from

ABOUT POSTHOG Product development used to mean manually writing code, running analysis, diagnosing bugs, and rolling out changes using dozens of tools. PostHog is the only platform that acts like a co-pilot for you (and your AI agents) to do it all – autonomously. We started with open-source product analytics, launched out of Y Combinator's W20 cohort https://posthog.com/handbook/story. We've since shipped more than a dozen products https://posthog.com/products, including: - PostHog Code https://posthog.com/code, the only AI devtool that understands your product, not just your codebase. - A built-in data warehouse https://posthog.com/docs/data-warehouse, so users can query product and customer data together using custom SQL insights. - PostHog AI https://posthog.com/ai, an AI-powered analyst that answers product questions, helps users find useful session recordings, and writes custom SQL queries. We are: 1. Product-led. More than 450,000 organizations have installed PostHog, mostly driven by word-of-mouth. We have intensely strong product-market fit. 2. Default alive https://paulgraham.com/aord.html. Revenue is growing incredibly quickly, and we're very efficient. We raise money to push ambition and grow faster, not to keep the lights on. 3. Well-funded. We've raised more than $180m from some of the world's top investors. We're set up for a long, ambitious journey. We're focused on building an awesome product for end users, hiring exceptional teammates, shipping fast, and being as weird as possible https://posthog.com/deskhog. THINGS WE CARE ABOUT - Transparency: Everyone can read about our roadmap, how we pay (or even let go of) people, our strategy, and how we work, in our public company handbook https://posthog.com/handbook. Internally, we share revenue, notes and slides from board meetings, and fundraising plans, so everyone has the context they need to make good decisions. - Autonomy: We don’t tell anyone what to do. Everyone chooses what to work on next based on what's going to have the biggest impact on our customers, and what they find interesting and motivating to work on. Engineers lead product teams https://posthog.com/handbook/wide-company and make product decisions https://posthog.com/handbook/which-products. Teams are flexible and easy to change when needed. - Shipping fast: Why not now? https://posthog.com/handbook/values#why-not-now We want to build a lot of products; we can't do that shipping at a normal pace. We've built the company around small teams – autonomous, highly-efficient groups of cracked engineers https://posthog.com/founders/cracked-manifesto who can outship much larger companies because they own their products end-to-end. - Time for building: Nothing gets shipped in a meeting. We're a natively remote company. We default to async communication – PRs > Issues > Slack. Tuesdays and Thursdays are meeting-free days https://posthog.com/handbook/company/culture#were-on-the-makers-schedule, and we prioritize heads down building time over perfect coordination. This will be the most productive job you've ever had. - Ambition: We want to solve big problems. We strongly believe that aiming for the best possible upside, and sometimes missing, is better than never trying. We're optimistic about what's possible and our ability to get there. - Being weird: Weird means redesigning an already world-class website for the 5th time. It means shipping literally every product that relates to customer data. It means building an objectively unnecessary developer toy https://posthog.com/deskhog with dubious shareholder value. Doing weird stuff is a competitive advantage. And it's fun. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR - A customer-obsessed person to take care of a large number of our larger customers. You’ll engage with them regularly to ensure their continued retention and growth. - You'll need to be incredibly helpful, technical enough to help our customers, and solve real problems without asking a sales engineer for help. - No going away and asking an expert by default. You will be the expert! - You’re great at building relationships with customers, understanding their priorities, and ensuring they are set up for success both today and in the long term. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING You’ll be the face of PostHog for anywhere from 25-40 paying customers in the $20k-$100k+ ARR range. Some of these customers will have come through our sales process and be well-known to us, while others will have self-served and never talked to us before! It'll be your responsibility to ensure that both types of customers stay with us. That means taking care of the technical side (debugging, config advice), the commercial side (pricing questions, credit renewals), and the human side (multi-threading, managing escalations). Day to day, it looks like: - Building relationships with your users. You should know who the key people are at each company, and they should know you. - Owning their
