Job description

Campaign Director, Austria

📍 Location: Austria, or near the Austrian border
⏳ Work Type: Remote, Full-time, flexible hours

Are you ready to lead national campaigns that defend life, protect the family, and safeguard fundamental freedoms in Austria?

CitizenGO is seeking a bold and strategic Campaign Director to lead our work in Austria. This is your opportunity to run high-impact national and global campaigns, mobilize thousands of citizens, and ensure that the voices of our supporters translate into real cultural and political change.

As Campaign Director, you will be at the heart of one of the most innovative and fast-growing advocacy movements in the world. You will not just write petitions. You will shape public debate, influence decision-makers, and represent CitizenGO in your country.

About the Role

Campaign Directors are at the core of CitizenGO ’s advocacy work. In Austria, you will take full ownership of your designated list, running national and global online campaigns that are read by millions of people each week.

You will track political and cultural developments, craft powerful campaign communications, and mobilize supporters to take action. You will also prepare or translate campaign messages from English, ensuring they resonate deeply within the Swiss context.

Beyond online campaigns, you will help organize offline actions such as petition deliveries and public stunts, build coalitions with like-minded organizations, and engage in legislative and electoral processes to highlight and defend our values.

In summary, you will serve as the public representative of CitizenGO in Austria.

This role reports to the Manager of Global Campaigns and offers a flexible schedule, provided all responsibilities are fulfilled on time and with excellence.
